The transformative learning process at Learn City Model Schools is designed to help our students grow both in and out of the classroom. Each day is filled with opportunities to experience new educational and social situations to further development. Our teachers create a safe and open setting, where they can guide students in exploring the world around them.

Our Crèche

Our facility is purpose-built with accompanying service units to compliment. There is a conducive sleep area, a designated putty training facility to serve strictly this age group, and also a fully equipped / functional kitchenette.

The crèche activity is overseen by experienced and professional staff. It has other staff who have also experienced in managing/meeting the needs of kids in this age bracket.

The staff run shifts to ensure that fatigue does not come in the way of proper care.

The room temperature is always regulated and there is an uninterrupted power supply.

The crèche fully supports parents who are career inclined, keep long business or work hours or need the kids taken care of temporarily.

While we encourage parents to spend more time with their children we recognize that a temporary solution is needed in such situations.

Nursery/Reception groups

We provide a nursery class for children aged 3 months to 5 years of age. The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is delivered in a way which integrates the learning of social, emotional, academic and motor skills. The emphasis is on helping children to acquire all the foundation skills they need for life and to become as independent as possible.  Children attend without their parents but close liaison is maintained at all times. Children in the nursery class are encouraged to look, listen, stand, move independently, play, use their hands, understand preschool concepts and communicate with others. The aim is to help them to reach their full potential and to prepare for successful integration into mainstream school.

Primary

LCMS offers a full-time integrated curriculum for children aged 5-11 years. This incorporates all aspects of the National Curriculum and continues to address the needs of the whole child thus building on the independence and mobility skills gained in the pre-school years. The school programme provides a careful balance of academic and physical learning in order to prepare children for moving on into other settings and more active participation in their family and community life.
